I found a pritty easy way to make a 3d tornado by using the tourus script and duplicating it 10 times .Scale each one on top of eachother, bone or group it,and mold a tornado its takes like a minute works pritty well.

Selgin ,Im almost positive from testing that It works just like the gradient feature in anime studio . You can export the image to a png or jpeg,then use it as a image texture !!! Two more colors gives you more bang for your buck!
