Can't select a wav in 5.4 either. At least not on Mac platform.

I guess it's not just my problem. I was also 10.4.7.

I just re-installed 10.4.5 for other reasons, and it didn't help. I tried changing file names from .aif to .aiff. No help.

Had a problem with Moho freezing during QT export. Using the batch processing solved it. Batch seems to be faster, too somehow.

Recently upgraded to 5.4 for my new Intel MacBook. Since then nothing happens when I try to select a soundtrack from the menu, nor when I select a source file for a switch layer. Works fine in 5.3 on my G5.

Try using bones rather than rotating layers. I needed to make wheels spin smoothly and ran into the same problem when I just tried rotating the layers. I tried it in a bone layer instead and viola! - wheels spun smoothly and easy to key-frame speed, bounce them up and down, etc.

Heck yes! Use Switch layers to replace hands, mouth positions, whatever. A switch layer holds multiple layers, only one of which is visible at any time. Clever animators use switch layers to save head turns, pick up objects, or whatever.

Select Quicktime animation format, then millions+ colors.

I've read that video editing software runs poorly or won't run under Rosetta - issues with lag. I'm not sure if this would affect MOHO, or by how much. Apple's own video software doesn't run under Rosetta - you have to wait for the Intel upgrade. I'm thinking about an Intel MacBook, but I'm waiting ...

Check your depth sorting. Each layer needs to be "0" or negative, otherwise it will be behind the camera once you leave frame 0. Also, don't mix depths in the same layer folder - this will confuse MOHO and cause objects to disappear. I've made all these mistakes.
